The title of the board is actually in a font that was made from my own handwriting. It appears that the dot over my "i" didn't register in the font-making process. Oh well. I dig it anyway.

Did you use a program to make the font from your own handwriting? I would love to do something like that.

We have a very bored Google[bot] on our hands, I think. Every time I get on the board, said bot is always browsing the forum.
You're unique, just like everyone else!

Going to test the file attachment thingy with a photo.

It worked! Now, does it eat up a bunch of scarce space resources we don't have?

No, disk space is one thing we have plenty of, so don't worry about that.

One thing that I would love to have changed (when you get around to it) is that the links in our posts used to open in a new window or tab. I keep having to backtrack to the board.

Thanks Jeffy!
Why are you the way that you are? Honestly, every time I try to do something fun or exciting, you make it not that way. I hate so much about the things that you choose to be. Michael Scott

In the meantime, you can right click on a link and have it open in a new window or tab from a little popup menu. Or at least I do that. :)

Or you can hold down Control (Command on Mac) while you click the link.

That sure was convenient, though, as was having Previous topic | First unread post | Next topic at the bottom as well as the top. I don't realize how much I use things until they are no longer there.

I'm loving the look of the new style, though. Particularly the dotless iis. :D

She is definitely lucky to have me, but I can't imagine anyone would be interested in what I had to bribe her with to get her to move to Minnesota.

Funny, because now she likes it here almost as much as I do. Having great church friends helps.

I do, when I remember! But my habit is to just click on the link - don't make me change my habits!

Is there any way to make the colors a little more intense on the home page, on the tabs that show if there's an unread message? I have trouble seeing that.

Okay, I think I have addressed all the specific concerns that people have mentioned about the new style, except for the one about links opening in a new page/tab. I probably won't be doing that one, just for purist reasons. (It is technically bad to do that, because it takes control of the experience out of the user's hands.) But all the other stuff should be looking good. Let me know if you notice anything else.
