I'm guessing it's a bug in the program that is causing this and the signature problems. I'm pretty sure it's a problem in the code for this particular PHPBB theme, so I will either have to find the problem or pick a new theme. (But picking a new theme would be a lot of work, so it might be easier to just find the problem.) Anyway, I am hoping to have some time soon, but I don't know for sure when.

I don't think it's the theme though. I have the same exact theme on 2 message boards and haven't had these problems at all.

Any news on the avatar front? Because I'd love to change mine, but again with the uploading problems....

I just tried to change my avatar, but it won't let me. Now I am avatarless.

Rob–
After I posted my message, I found the way around that is to link to an avatar hosted elsewhere, like Photobucket. Thus I have my surprised preschooler adorning my every post. Isn't she cute?

Hi. I posted this on the main forum, in the thread about the new server, but haven't gotten a response so I thought I'd repost it here, since this is probably where I should have put it in the first place.

Since the move, I just tried to upload a new avatar and it's failing. I'm uploading it straight from my hard drive, and it's 125 pixels wide, only 10K. I'm getting an error msg. Specifically...

[specific error removed...]

Try it again. It should be working now, I hope.

EFB, you are a prince among men. And now everyone can see a picture of my little prince. Thank you!

He's a cutie. And I want a camel shirt, too.
If you smile at me I will understand, 'cause that is something everybody everywhere does in the same language.

Thanks Audrey! The camel shirt is the Perl camel from the O'Reilley books. Across the butt of the onesie it says "Powered by Perl", but I couldn't get a good shot of his caboose, every time I tried, he'd sit on it so he could turn around and see what I was doing. Can't say I blame him, I don't want anyone taking pics of my caboose either.

I got it at ThinkGeek.com, but now they're gone!
