Eew! Moist and fresh are words that I do not want associated with that particular item.

Poor Rob. Must be tough dealing with diaper disasters and flu season at your house. For Lois, I mean.

Momma, if you can just leave the cat poo there for a couple of days, and your particular house canines do not eat it like Kitty Roca packaged in a big plastic box, then it dries out too.

That's a big "if" at my house. Dogs! Go figure.

(I assume, of course, that we are talking about a covered litter box, with an entrance flap on the front that doesn't faze Kitty but the dogs are too stu---Um, the dogs have not been shown how to navigate.)

If your dogs have a doggy door, as ours do now, I suspect they wouldn't have a hard time figuring out the navigation. :)

Tap water. Ours is awesome and cold out of the tap in the ... winter.

Pancakes. I'm lactose intolerance, and while I do enjoy soy milk, since I'm the only one who uses it, I often forget to buy any for weeks/months at a time.

Biscuits and gravy, or biscuits with meat inside (like a sausage biscuit).

Sausage biscuit for sure. Biscuits and gravy tend to trigger my gag reflex.

(And for the record, Karenin, there's a big difference to me when it comes to cleaning up the nasties for animals, and cleaning up after kids who share my DNA. If they're someone else's kids, then it's about the same.)

Obviously you are not from the South, sir, where biscuits and gravy are the lifeblood of the people, right along with Dr Pepper. (insert snarky obesity epidemic comment here)

And IHOP for its cleanliness.

I love me some biscuits and gravy! And I eat at Denny's once a month or so, and I've only been to IHOP twice in my life, but I LOVE pancakes! So if the doctor ever tells me I'm too thin and I need to bulk up a little, I'll be at IHOP without delay.

And casual dress all the way!

Drumsticks WITH nuts.

Otherwise, it's just a sad little ice cream cone that fell into a vat of chocolate and started getting soggy.

(Glad to have my faith in you restored, Rob!! Oh so glad.)

The one with Vincent d'Onofrio, even though he really gave me the creeps in that show. I kept picturing him as Thor in Adventures in Babysitting.

I don't wear either, but I'll say slippers. You never hear about a dog fetching someone's fuzzy socks. Not that I'd want to wear slippers that a dog had slobbered all over anyway, but still.

Corned beef. No reason, except that pastrami is like Sliced Disappointment.

Unseasonably chilly. No question or hesitation. I can always bundle up more, but I can only unbundle so much before people object vociferously. Plus my winter natural gas bill is cheaper than my summer electric bill.

Me, too, Scotty. Maybe if I lived in a place that's cold, I'd appreciate unseasonably warm, but here, where it's almost always unseasonably warm (and I always laugh when they say it, because seriously, there's no season where we don't sometimes have hot days) I love a nice cold snap.

And most definitely cinnamon rolls without nuts! Putting nuts in means that after you've swallowed the smooth cinnamon-y goodness, you still have a piece of nut stuck in your teeth, and that's all you can taste.

Mowing the lawn. Less bending over and picking things up. Unless you're going to jump in the piles afterwards. Jumping into a pile of grass clippings (or lawn shavings, as my son calls them) is no fun at all.

KareNin, I normally respect others' opinions, but I'm afraid you are simply wrong about corned beef and pastrami. I'm not sure if we can still be friends. I'm having a really hard time wrapping my brain around this. It would be easier if you would just decide to like pastrami so that I can stop concerning myself over this.

Two of the very few things I really don't like are corned beef and pastrami. I always think I should like them, but whenever I have the chance to taste one or the other, I'm always surprised at how much I don't like them.

I am with Momma on this one. Corned beef and pastrami are both... yeeech.

And what's the difference between shenanigans and hi-jinks? I think I like them both!

Wow, I seem to be outnumbered. And I just realized that this means more pastrami for me, so I'll go ahead and get over it.

Okay then, if you can't decide between shenanigans and hi-jinks, how about:
