Agreed. I'm thinking of the right episode and I remember the oranges falling on his head, but all I remember is him saying oranges were falling on his head. Where's the catchphrase?

OK. I thought it was a catchphrase. I was wrong. "iAy-Yi-Yi! iNaranjas en la cabeza!" was what I was going for.

OK, when SLH becomes the Duff mascot, what stage name is he given?

"Aww, the Denver Broncos?!"
"I think owning the Denver Broncos is pretty good!"
"Marge, you obviously know nothing about football."

And then we see Elway get beaned in the head with the ball.

New one: in one of the Treehouse of Horror episodes, what instrument does Mr. Burns use to remove Homer's brain?

(Dictionary.com)

"tr.v. Slang beaned, bean·ing, beans
To hit (another) on the head with a thrown object, especially a pitched baseball."

(m-w.com)

"Main Entry: 2bean
Function: transitive verb
: to strike (a person) on the head with an object "

Did I ever tell you about the time when I was a senior in High School, and for an AP Gov't assignment, Matt H. and I were passing out door hangers for a guy on the city council? Matt told me to "go into that cul-de-sac" and I had no idea what he was talking about. Some part of me still has trouble believing it's a real word.

I guess I'm used to hearing/using a different term. But, I did have fun reading TVGM's posts out loud with an Asian accent.

Uh huh. You do this often then?

Thanks Ryan, you rock. And yes, I remember the story. Silly man, of course it's a word. It's in your dictionary, isn't it?

Yes, I do it often....especially while driving. My family and friends get a kick out of it, and it keeps me from developing road rage. (We also watch other people in other cars and make up their conversations. Word of advice: Just make sure the other people can't hear.) Basically it helps me not to take anything seriously.

I do find it interesting that I have incorporated some of my driving habits in here though.

And, Ryan, you're right about the word cul-de-sac. Seriously, where did that word come from?

Burns took Homer's brain out with an ice cream scoop (with hilarious results).

Back to the game:

What did Homer's down-and-out half-brother Herbert invent?

"Hello....Look at me, I'm Davy Crocket!"
"Dangit Smithers, this isn't rocket science, it's brain surgery!"
One of my favorite episodes.

Herb invented the baby translating machine, but I don't know the exact name for it. Is that close enough? Otherwise someone else take it.

The only thing I remember about him was a brief appearance when they were hunting for Nessie. Willie exchanged a few words with them (less than 10) and then we didn't see much of them until their village got flooded later in the episode.

It was never established whether that village was North Kiltown (Kilt Town?).

Is that enough?

Actually, I was thinking (let's play "Read My Mind!") of the scene when the class hampster dies and Skinner asks Willy to give him a proper burial. Willy, embittered, exclaims, "Me own father was thrown in a bog!"

And since you were the only one to answer at all, your go.

Fair enough. Back to what Abby was thinking:

What was the name of the ill-fated hamster that almost received a better rest than Willie's father?
