Inappropriate First Dance Songs

Postby Hass » Wed 23 Jun, 2004 07:13 am

My roommate and I have this running game where we try to come up with inappropriate songs to dance your first dance to at your wedding.

For example: The Rolling Stones 'Satisfaction' would probably not be a good song. Or Ugly Kid Joe 'I Hate Everything About You'

Anyone? Anyone?

That one's priceless! In fact, it forced all other contenders out of my head. Though I finally thought of this one: The Bloodhound Gang's The Bad Touch (you know, "You and me, baby, ain't nothin' but mammals...")

"One More Minute" by Weird Al. I was asked to dance once and this was the song--the guy was embarrassed but I laughed. It ended badly, as I knew it would, barely two hours later, and I will never ever ever go to a bar again. It was the 2nd scariest experience I've ever had. Thank goodness I had the foresight to give out a fake name and phone number.

Motley Crue songs:

Songs that relate but are still nonetheless offensive:

Ten Seconds to Love
Looks that Kill
Too Young to Fall in Love
Girls, Girls, Girls

Song that just don't relate to the moment at all (unless you're twisted):

Shout at the Devil
Smokin' In The Boys Room
Primal Scream

MC Hammer's You Can't Touch This

(But it might be cute to see the groom give all the men dirty looks while he dances with his bride.)

Love in an elevator
Papa Don't Preach
War - What is it good for?
Girl, I wanna make you sweat

The theme song from any 80's sitcom (or any sitcom, for that matter)

Just about any famous John Williams song. (except maybe superman. that'd just be funny. And The indiana jones theme is for after the Reception.)

Somewhere over the Rainbow
The Rainbow connection

Come to think of it, just about any rainbow song.
