People are idly sitting by, waiting day after day for a new quote to guess, and may have to resort to crossword puzzles, or even (shudder) Sudoku, to kill time. Horrifying.

Yeah, I just didn't want to take the time to think of one right then. Here we go:

"Married yet?"

"Ask me again in half an hour."

Okay, another quote from the same movie. If you don't get this, then I'll do a different movie.

"I'm sorry, Father, but the truth is, this is not my day for talking seriously."

"Well, what do you mean, sir?"

"I mean that I only talk seriously on the first Tuesday of every month. Between noon and three."

I need to watch THAT one, at least. I like the dialogue so far, but I'm sure I haven't ever seen it.

I rarely recognize any of these, mostly because I don't watch movies much, and almost never watch one a second time. Now, if we went back to lines from "Hard Day's Night," or even "That Thing You Do" or "Remember the Titans," I might be all over it.

But that's okay. There are plenty of other games I can play.

Concurrent Movie Quote #2:

Okay, so the quote I was doing was from "An Ideal Husband." And yeah, if you've never seen it, then I recommend it. The dialogue is great!

I don't know the concurrent quote.

New quote:

"You're sort of beautiful."

"How hard did you hit your head?"

I think I've seen this movie. I'm not sure, but is it "Toy Story?"

Ah! Toy Story! I knew that first quote was familiar, I just couldn't place it! Now I can.

Wow. Um. You were writing the answer while I was posting! Weird.

KMD, you go. I can't think of a movie I want to quote right now.

Do we need another quote?

"Some day you'll learn that greatness is only the seizing of opportunity - clutching with your bare hands 'til the knuckles show white."

That is really a great quote, in and of itself! Now I want to print it at the bottom of an inspirational scene, and sell it as posters.

Did not know it, cheated to look it up, and realized I did not know it because (among other reasons) I've never seen it. I have at least heard of it! :)

It's blasphemy only in Kentucky, I think.
