Aunt Tilly

Postby InOregon » Tue 31 Jul, 2007 02:51 pm

Here's a new game that smeetuffe and I like to play over IM (and currently over PM). I'm not going to tell you how to play. Smee and I will get it started and the rest of you can join in when you figure it out.

Regarding the Sniders, Aunt Tilly is very fond of Jeff, but not of Eric. She, like the rest of us, adores Momma.

Oh, and she greatly prefers smeetuffe to me.

She loves jelly, but won't eat jam.

Is that right?

Rob, Aunt Tilly hates smartypants!

Truly, she does. Oddly enough she won't eat it on toast or in a sandwich. She prefers her jelly splattered on a marshmallow.

I blame her sweet tooth.

What if I wasn't a smartypants, but a smartybreeches?

she'd probably call you a smarta**.

Aunt Tilly is fond of her pottymouth.

And it's so strange that she'll never wear shoes or socks, but usually walks around in slippers.

Come to think of it, she also has a pair of yellow rubber boots that she's quite attached to.

She hates when I go by my screenname: Card, but likes me to go by my name: Carrie?

And she prefers to eat at Denny's if choosing between that or IHOP? But, she also likes the Waffle House? And she likes to get eggs or omlettes, but isn't a fan of hash browns or pancakes? Waffles are good, especially with syrup like strawberry or blueberry, but not maple. But butterscotch is good.

*Sorry if you read this when I had all sorts of spelling errors on it. It might still contain some. My brain left early today.

Yes, Card. You're correct. I find it funny that she likes waffles and eggs and omelettes, but despises breakfast. Maybe it's because she eats them for dinner.

I'm so pleased that she adores me when I'm in my Momma persona. I doubt that she'd like me when I'm just Laurie. And she'd probably like Eric better if she knew his grandpa used to call him Burr Top.

I never have cared much for Aunt Tilly, myself, and she feels the same about me. I don't care; I think she rather enjoys being a silly, nattering, balloon-shaped poofball. Just because she's a former brunette bookkeeper (other sources claim she was a hooker), she seems to think she can pass her preferences about stuff to all concerned, and they should fall into line without a peep.

Aunt Tilly, you need to broaden your narrow little view!

Aunt Tilly would much rather my screen name stephsterr to my real name, Stephanie. Oui?

Wee.

She'd highly approve of your entire name, though.

Oh the stories she would tell us about hooking! We did our best not to judge though, for she hates judging. "Laissez faire" is her motto.

Has Aunt Tilly ever told you about the time she went skeet shooting in Poughkeepsie?

Man, what a hoot!

I was trying to think of something clever to say until I remembered Aunt Tilly prefers things that are witty instead. I would like to mention her favorite games are scrabble and chess. You can take comfort, KareNin, in the fact that she hardly ever wins due to her extremely limited vocabulary and the fact that the only pieces she will use are the queen and the rook. It's really too bad as she is an excellent winner and a very bad loser.

Just so the fellas know, Aunt Tilly likes to hook up, but she doesn't like to date. She doesn't prefer to hold hands, but she does like to cuddle, kiss, and even spoon! Hugging makes her happy, as well.

Aunt Tilly told me one day, in confidence, that she prefers a nuzzle, a sweet kiss, and then a nice long smooch, rather than just a quick peck on the lips. On the cheek--all right, but not on the lips.

Yep, she's quite a hottie for an old woman.

And she likes sweets, but not chocolate, poor thing. She likes butterscotch pudding a lot.

Question: do we keep playing this particular aspect and then lose this fun thread, or do we eventually find some other category?

This is kind of like the "I'm Going Camping" game that we always play on Christmas Eve, except that we all hate it now because of the stupid categories people tend to come up with, but we still have to play it for at least one round because IT'S TRADITION.
