Emergency chocolate cake

Is it incongruous that a board with a "Hot Body Weight Loss Contest" also demanded a recipes forum to help each other get fat? I cannot see how.

This is a one-serving cake you make in a mug...in one minute in the microwave! It looks really, really good.

Printed and will be tried...not tonight. Dang Blubbermetrics. But I know what I'm doing the next time I have a smidge of leftover frosting.
You're unique, just like everyone else!

I am eating one right now as I type this. This is perhaps the best thing ever put in the recipes forum. Thanks Momma!

That's good to know. I haven't tried it yet, but I just might...tonight. My last night in Pleasant Grove, and tomorrow I'm back to Atkins shakes and meal bars. I swear.

The next time I try it, I might go a little lighter on the cocoa powder and add a touch more sugar. It's not quite as sweet as I am used to. :) I did the spoonful of peanut butter on the top. A scoop of ice cream might add the right amount of sweetness that I was looking for.

Laura and I just made some. It's wonderful. Of course I had a mishap along the way. I had taken my laptop to the kitchen, since I haven't printed it off, and when I spooned the cocoa into the cups, it splattered all over my computer. How am I going to explain THAT to the repairman?

(I think I got it all blown out.)

Momma, laptop repair guys have seen MUCH worse stuff spattered all over and inside the keyboards of laptops. A Little cocoa powder won't faze them at all.

I can also attest to the deliciousness and instantaneousness of this recipe. We added some Ghirardelli milk chocolate chips for a bump in the amazingly delicious factor.

And thus we see why my Blubbermetrics result wasn't so good this week.

Yeah... I think I love this. I tried it. It is one of the most brilliant quick desserts ever.
